Sampha – Process It’s no surprise that this album won the prestigious Mercury Prize in 2017. This album has everything, as Sampha’s distinct, yet astounding voice delivers vulnerable lyrics over chilling instrumentals. My personal favourite track is ‘Under’ as it’s peaks never fail to give me goosebumps. Other notable tracks include ‘Reverse Faults’, and the upbeat yet emotional ‘Kora Sings’. 2. Boldy James & The Alchemist – The Price of Tea in China This album has an industrial ghostly sound to it, as legendary producer, The Alchemist, perfectly portrays the characteristics of Boldy’s home city Detroit. ‘Grey October’ is the perfect example of the autumnal feel this album gives off....
